is it really a mk vi? it seems more like a "vintage finished" tenor... although the neck has the mk vi symbol

What makes you think it's a VI? I didn't see any Mark VI symbol on the neck but maybe I missed it. Looks like a Mauriat to me.

Looks like a P.Mauriat 66R with the Super VI jazz neck... he is a Mauriat endorser at the moment as well I believe........ check the website to verify....

Yeah it looked strange to me, it wasn't a natural unlacquered horn. But the neck seemed a 'S' Selmer neck and the symbol... my bad... thanks

The Mauriat's have an cursive "P" on the neck that is not filed in with paint like the Selmer. I wish they would add paint, it would surely make it look finished.
