Well great renditions of this tune from Claude Bill Mike Tom and Rockplayer.
Here's my first ham-fisted attempt. Will practice this one outside for a while and re-record it sometime.

cheers, Mark.
Good to hear a take from you Mark (has been a while). Good and full sound, well played. That playing 'outside' seems like a good thing to practise all kind of songs. Looking forward to your future take.

Thanks for listening Peter. Whenever I post something for SOTW, I'll listen to it one more time and then regret having posted it.
I can hear things that wouldn't get past the general censor.
So J.C. don't hold it back
cheers, Mark.
@Rockplayer and @Mark, a couple of classy takes from the pair of you, both showing good technique combined with good ideas...

Smooth Mark....I envy your fluidity.
actually at the begining, my ears heard King Curtis...
I'll add my +1 to what everyone else has said, great stuff mark and rockplayer!!
So, mark, when you say "practice outside" does that mean practice in the fresh air or practice going "outside" on the tune?
I thought I would try this tune again without going up the octave since I kind of liked Tom's version that he did that way. Other than some fluffed low Bbs I got through it, but I'm not sure I've progressed from my earlier version. It is still a fun tune though.

I'm now fully into my audit season so I won't be by here regularly but I will try to post from time to time.

Nice one Claude. Especially when the improv kicked off!
Thanks Peter Tom Bill (KC...yeah in my dreams hehe)
and Claude...'outside' as in the open fresh air, with people walking by.
cheers, Mark.
