Default FS: Buescher Tenor SN 333XXX

For Sale: Buescher Tenor, SN 333XXX (1950) Model 156, Script engraving, similar to Big B. No lacquer, wonderful player. Has Warburton Tenon and Neck system and comes with all the extra neck tips to customize your sound with your mouthpiece. It sounded good before, with this new system, it sounds amazing. http://www.warburton-usa.com/index.p...imate-sax-neck My neck is pictured here, scroll down, first neck picture.

I've babied her, but she's a player, not a museum piece. No damage at all to it. Would make an excellent plating candidate.

    Pictures forthcoming....

$1050 OBO This is the original price I paid for the horn from Dave Hoskins at JunkDude. I'll pass along the bargain price to you. The refinements from Terry Warburton were $400, but well worth it.

Is that Warburton work permanent or reversible?

Is the neck an actual Warburton or adapter pieces you buy to fit the tenon and the piece that fits the mouthpiece?

To my eye it looks like he had the Buescher neck modified with the warburton system?

If that's the case, I doubt it is reverseable. Since he modded the neck tenon, then even a different Buescher neck wouldn;t bolt on without needing it resized.

Do we have a comment from the OP?

    Hey Kfen,

Also want to know if the neck can be converted back to the original. Why are you selling? Original snaps and Nortons all present? What condition, etc. is the case?

    thanks
