I'd love to pick up a large number of good reeds cheaply. However, my clarinet work these days is limited to the odd dixieland gig where I double on clarinet. The strength is a deal breaker for me as I am sure a 4 1/2 strength would have my eyeballs buldging as I normally used a three when I was playing a lot more...
Tenor: Saxart Creative Tenor Silverplate, Warburton LA 7*, ED Rovner lig., Just Joe's Neckstrap!
Alto: Selmer Mk VI, Barone Vintage, ED Rovner lig
Soprano: Jupiter 947, Bari HR, ED Rovner lig
Wow! Someone needs to do this for tenor reeds in a 3 strength with the link sent only to me.
Agreed, the reeds are of the higher strength variety so we've started the auction at a very low price. If you like a strong reed or your the type of player that likes to customize (shave down) your reeds, this could be the deal of the century.
I personnal think every Clarinet player should play St. 4 1/2's. Particular Grand Concert !!!
