Please... Don't EVER thank me for a post. EVER!
My goal is to NEVER be thanked for anything.

A lot of good arguments are ruined by some fool who knows what he's talking about.
Dude, Support this Forum.
Hey I tried to Thank myself...What's up with that?
.. a "blow up this thread " button would be cool..
My wife, whose ears I trust, said that my sound is much fuller, richer, more powerful and resonant on this set up.
... but really folks... my wife said, " It sounds like a saxophone ".
To those that thanked me Sorry , but I can't find the ''Thanks for Thanking Me'' button.
Am I the only one that finds this thank you stuff cluttered all over new posts to be extremely distracting?
I know I have jet lag but I think I would find it annoying even in a lucid state of mind.

I assume this the 'how to be creative thread' in such a colloquial term such as 'please don't thank me'.
Naturally we have the usual out of the gate 'thank you' responses. Good to get them out of the way!
Don't ya see the individual wants creativity, or............. the individual sincerely wants no thank you's under any circumstance.
Come on, you're predominantly jazz musician's, right? No offense to the rockers!
You're supposed to be somewhat creative! If you're going to be disrespectful to the individual's wishes, at least be creative about it!
The thing is probably out of the next 100,000 posts there will only be possibly a minor few that will be considered to be, as in the vernacular of the jazz musician, totally on the money harmony to the II-V-I progression, if my analogy is permitted.
Trice035 doesn't want thank you's.
Will you be accommodating this individual's wishes if indeed a 'thank you' response is warranted?
It is my opinion, that students are taught 'what' to think, and certainly not taught 'how' to think...
Mike - this is a tongue-in-cheek reverse on the following five page thread you might want to take a look at: http://forum.saxontheweb.net/showthr...ghlight=button

It's clear we also need an "Irony Thanks" or "Thanks In Air-Quotes" or "F*ck Off" button...
It would say, for example:

A belated thanks. thank you.
I agree with Sigmund and Gary. The new 'Thanks' feature just adds more clutter. Is there a way individuals can turn it off?

Its fun and novel in this thread but mixed in with other discussions it really messes with the flow.

Just checking. Am I the only one that sees a "remove all" clickable link on the right end of the Thank you posts?
BTW, that is ugly as hell![]()
