A lot of good arguments are ruined by some fool who knows what he's talking about.
Dude, Support this Forum.
I'd like to see a middle finger button...I'd wear that thing out.
Thanks for reading this

This is a nice PC thread....
All kidding aside, when I posted (much) earlier in this thread saying a "thanks" button would be a good idea, I had it in my head that something like an unobtrusive ticky mark would show in a corner of the "thanked" post. I had no idea that the indication of thanks would take up so much screen space. So I'm ready to change my vote now (if I ever had one). And, um, thanks.
Thanks to have revised your vote! I am all in favour for abrogation

"...I thank you all...."
But seriously folks, I was raised by my mum to always say please and thank you.
ALWAYS.
As in, it's a knee-jerk reaction. I'll see that little button, and it'll be as though my mum is sitting there, looking over my shoulder, saying, "If you don't say thank you, your friends' mothers will think I raised an uncivilized baboon, so remember to do it or you'll bring disgrace upon the family!" And I'll be thanking every poster for every post I read from here on in since, after all, they took the time to type it.
Oh, and I'm also distressed by the thought of an SOTW member who never gets thanked, so I'll probably have to stay up a few more hours to ensure nobody has that "thanked O times in O posts" mark of shame on their profile. 'Cause that would just be wrong.
Kim might have to save me from myself.

This is a problem for me, I would feel very incomplete being "thanked" when there is no "you're welcome" button
I would prefer a " don't mention it " button
perspicacious !
apparently my "Thanks" button has been removed! Probably just as well because I can't think of much I've contributed over the years that deserves any thanks.

Thanks, but I've already done that before (I think) and I wouldn't want to overdo it in fear of being told off
!
i guess "thank you message" was designed that big to replace actual messages.
if that's true then IMHO each member should have limited thank you # per day to use them wisely...
that is the only way we can save bari_sax_diva!

Can we have a " Thank G-D!" button? Even a " Thank Gwad " would do!
