Sadly, saxophone does not attract females.
If you want to attract them, learn street dance.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one, unless i am practicing then all bets are off.
Aren't we stuck on us?????????? I think it's because when we're in a room full of hot babes, we're the ones they know will be exactly where they left us 45 minutes later when they come back from doing whatever it is that they do while we're playing the saxophonel
"Zoot" would a good name for a kid...
Way to generalize us, fellas! :P

I went to where my girl works to pick her up for lunch and noticed that the other women were looking at me. Believe me, I'm no Brad Pitt. Turns out that they were "discussing" sax players and the oral thing. Dirty girls.....

Why? I don't know, but women like sax
I started playing sax in junior high school. After a while I got into this rock and roll band. We were terrible (almost everybody was back then). We got a gig at a junior high school dance and there I was on stage, having a great time playing music with my pals, and that cute girl who wouldn't even look at me in English class was suddenly 'making eyes' at me. And at the end of the night they actually paid me money!!!!!!!!!
I've been a pro musician ever since.
I went on the road for a few years and almost got to be famous (the lawyers and Motown couldn't agree on money). I met a lot of girls on the road and I hope their lives were enriched as much as mine.
In fact, every woman I've ever been intimate with in my entire life was introduced to me by my saxophone -- including my current wife (the best of all). And she should have known better, after all she is a singer/guitarist/synthesist. (She's the female in my avatar).
But it's true. The drummer and the lead singer have more magnetism than the sax player. But there are usually enough for the sax player to get lucky.
Today, I'd be called a sexist. Back then I was just considered Lucky.
I played by 3 rules
1) Always seduce, never force
2) Make sure they aren't married
3) Make sure they were protected from pregnancy
But that was before AIDs so today I'd have to add another rule

I was told a few years ago that in the U.K., the second most popular instrument for schoolgirls to play is the saxophone, only the piano is more popular among young girls. I played electric keyboards in bands in the 1980s when the synth was the most popular instrument, however I met my wife playing beat-up pianos in her dance classes.
I hope not..................
Branford Marsalis was on NPR's "Wait, Wait. Don't Tell Me" program this week, and was asked the very same question.
His response had a bit of history. He said he started on the keys, and at the time, all he had to go on the road was his Fender Rhodes, which he commented weighed about 100 lbs. When the tenor player in the band he was in quit, he jumped at the chance to stop carrying the Fender Rhodes. Not only did he have to deal with way less load, BUT, his quote of the day went like this, "you always hear sexy sax music in the movies, and you always get comments about playing sexy sax. You never get comments of "oh, that was some sexy (Yamaha) DX-7 you were playing"."
They also attract men.
Think about it...... sax playing revolves around fast fingers and good tonguing!!!
