Sing the melody and the solos before they get on your instrument. (not real singing but match the pitch rhythm, the RHYTHMS and the feeling). This really helps for getting the bop feeling in your bones rather than approximating it.

Off the top of my head Frank Morgan Had a nice recording of Caravan I think it was on his Mood Indigo album
Maybe. Duke's book had something like a dozen or more versions of Caravan.
