    Default Intonation problem with SR alto

    Hi, I recently got an SR alto piece size 8 for my trusty alto. I love my tenor 8 SR and I thought i'd try one on alto.
    It's great BUT it's flat, really flat. My normal alto piece is a meyer 6 HR, and I can play in tune on that. My alto is a Carl Ludwig, a German 'almost Keilwerth', with rolled tone-holes.

    Anyone else with this problem?

    Are all the notes flat? Is it too tight on the cork to push in farther?

    A Runyon 6 would be closer to your Meyer 6, but I dont think size is the main problem here.
