C.E. Winds has done it again!

I just received a copper neck from C.E. Winds and it has changed my SA80II tenor into the horn I have been dreaming of.

This is the best sounding, easiest playing neck I have tried so far and will now be my "go to" neck for awhile.

I now have the original neck, selmer sterling, and now the CE Winds copper neck.

Anybody interested in a Sterling Silver Selmer U.S.A. ?

BTW, the Copper neck only cost me $75 plus shipping. YEAH YOU READ IT CORRECTLY.

Not tried their necks, but I've got a CE Winds metal sop MP and I'm well impressed with it.

I tried the "Silver Shocka" on my tenor but was not what I expected but overall great looking piece.

I played a 2 1/2 hour three set show last night with this neck, and have to say that it was consistently in tune, free blowing, and gave my SA80II a spread tone that I never expected to get from this horn.

I can fully recommend the Alpha series copper neck, and am planning to purchase the Omega series crook next.

what's the difference between a selmer U.S. and a selmer paris neck? I might be interested if the price is right....

Funny to see this thread revived but proof that some people actually use the search function.

I could not find much difference in tone or in the build quality of the USA neck or the stock Paris neck when I played those on that SA80II. Both were stuffy, and played flat with tons of resistance. I attribute it to the horn since when played with the generic chinese made neck the sound opened up. However the neck, horn, and selmer envy are long gone.
