    I find that this book kind of gets my fingers moving in directions they dont usually go. Sort of gets you out of the rut of always sounding the same. Fun to practice with too.

    BTW the soprano I bought is an Antigua Winds from Kesslers with one of their mouthpieces. Im really happy with it.

    I don't even clean it much I just leave the reed on with a cap. ( i never do that with my main horns) And lean it back. Im getting pretty good at at. I like the car idea.

    Keep an inexpensive soprano at work

    Im a teacher and i bought an relatively inexpensive soprano (which I've never played) I leave it set up near my desk , and end up grabbing it and playing it every day at work. Anyone else do this?

    Also if there is no model number on it , how can you tell it its a student , intermediate or pro horn? If it has detachable necks is it pro? I think thats how the later unison sopranos flew.

    are Older unison as good?

    I am looking at an 8 year old unison soprano that a guy is selling "pro model"
    Are these as good as the newer ones? Is 600 about right for it ? Excellent cond.
    I have not seen it yet.
