Just finished my sophomore recital at Indiana University!
Yes I am refering to to air humidity. I'll have to try that sometime! Thanks for the tip!
I just soak mine in a simple medicine bottle of water. The 70% is a relation to the humidity of reed storage.
I've always wanted to experiment with vintage reeds!
anything over 70% humidity is considered hazardous to reed playability.
vandoren hygrocase.. holds 20 reeds and it has a readout of the current humidity your reeds are at in case there needs to be an adjustment to the humidity. I haven't had one problem with my reeds...
You don't know how high you can set the bar, unless you keep going. Practicing has a beginning point, but no end point. In mathmatical terms, practicing is like a ray, a line that has a beginning...
I own this CD, and I must say, it is worth every penny!!!!
I tried out my private instructor's P. Mauriat a while back and I was not impressed. I love the idea of a professional horn at a reasonable price for those who may not be able to afford a top line...
Spit drips from my high D key all the time!
I've been litening to the cd Glint by Timothy McAllister.

As much as I enjoyed the AL3 Optimum, I recently switched to the S90 after all-state band because I felt that the S90 gave me a more robust and colorful tone. However, I do believe the Optimum is the...
i would say bird would have to be my favorite sound with cannonball taking spot number 2.
