Heard that jmathesonjr Inebriation works wonders for my tone.http://fc05.deviantart.com/images/i/2003/39/3/a/Drunk_Emoticon
For me that mouthpiece would be too expensive and I would wait for a deal. I have let several wonderful vintage mouthpieces slip away to other ebay buyers because I wouldn't go over a certain limit....
Well happy day! for me at least. (sorry "Thejazzfly")
Not to take the thread in a different direction but a quick question. What would you guys do with the mouth patch that came on mine? I usually...
I just won so I haven't received them yet.
I thought I did but thanks for the affirmation. Also got combined shipping.;)
I won a couple nice looking Phil Barone mouthpieces on ebay. They both say " Phil Barone New York Ny" on the top. The alto piece is a j6 and the Tenor piece is V7. Without knowing a whole lot about...
Wanted to make sure about this piece. I just won on ebay. Is there a way to tell which it is?

Of course, a relacquer...

I never heard of him.
RIP anyway.
I am a teacher also and while I prefer mac it is true that PC gets used in the education system more. Just get a PC with forward capacity so that when Win7 comes out you wont need to upgrade your...
I checked Saxquest and they are out of stock on the Tenny soprano pieces.
You should not start on Soprano IMO. Its one of the hardest saxophones to play. Alto would be a good starting sax. You can sometimes luck out and get a professional quality sax used and in good shape...
I have played in NYC a few times and know quite a few jazz artists who base out of there. Its tough, yes there are gigs but so many great players are fighting for those gigs. I don't think New York...
Thats my problem too with the tenor ones and some alto ones. If it is too big in my mouth it stretches my embouchure in such a way that going back to my double (trumpet) is difficult.
I just...
Good luck
