That is a beaut!
Man! This photo is a wet dream for me! This is the bomb!
I would recommend that you take lessons first to get the feel of an alto sax. While you take lessons, take the time and try different saxes. Feel free to ask your teacher for advice on what to look...
Didn't you wish that bitch would drop dead?
Actually, I started the forum under Alto saxes, but I'm also asking about any other saxes, too.
You've got the wrong Kobayashi. Kaori Kobayashi is a female saxophonist. You can see her on You Tube. I don't think K.Kobayashi would have the stomach for all those weiners (no pun intended).
Now that I have a little more dispensible income, I'm now on alert, but there's always THE ONE that will get away. That's life!
THAT must of hurt big time!
I just looked through Robertos website. Man! That place, especially the Mark VI displays, is a sax player's wet dream. I want to go there. Those Mark VIs look amazing!

I don't know the sax that I started with back in 6th grade, but in high school, my first owned sax was and still is a YAS-23. Great horn that carried me through university. Afterwards, I switched...
So, you're from Sacramento? I use to live there for about 10 years before moving. Great city! I take it that since you're a sax player, you probably have been to the Jazz...
I've had that happen to me many times. It usually happens if your lips are dried, since the lip will stick to the plastic. I just moisten my lips. It won't affect your sound. The first time I used...
Not necessarily. My instructor is insistent that my 23 will do just fine.
Which is good, because my wallet also insists that I don't buy another horn. :|[/QUOTE]
When I was in university, I...
Welcome! But I think many people have already told you that.
My advice is to enjoy the experience. You're beginning, but so was everyone; even the professionals. Anything you play will...
I never refer to search either and even though I am not going to do that here either I will cut to the chase right now.
P. Mauriat saxophone company makes professional quality saxophones that are...
That is the truth! I don't mind spending a day, trying out horns. Cool deal!
Where is the museum? I want to go!
There's a you tube video of George Shelby taking you through the Yamaha sax...
