Hi Steve
I'm a sound engineer of some 30 years & I stumbled upon your post from 2005 regarding the perceived pitch difference between your ears, having suffered the same issue about 2 months back. The syndrome is known as diplacusis & I can find very limited info regarding it. It is quite a worry & disturbing, as you know, for those of us involved with music. Did your diplacusis ever resolve? Any info that you may have discovered would be really welcome.
Many thanks
Dave
