Hi folks,My name is Paul ,this is my first post. I have just taken up the sax at the age of 51 having never played a musical instrument in my life.I started having lessons about 5 weeks ago and things were going quite well , until I suddenly developed this high squeak at the start of every note. I understand that it takes time to learn but this is very frustrating and I will not be seeing my teacher for another 2weeks. Has any one got any advice please. I have a new Trevor James classic with a standard mouthpiece and a 1.5 RICO reed.
