Sorry to be late in getting back to you bud. Man, $650.00 for an R13 was not bad in 1970. Mine was $550.00 in 1968. I've got 2 Mario mpc's and I just had them resurface the top. I've heard they are Chedeville blanks and I wouldn't be surprised. I've got a student who just got one from Roberto's in "as new" condition and it set him back $1000.00. It's a fantastic piece...sounds like cream with that nice bright center on his 10G and, of course, has that little bit of resistance that's so nice and a dark and creamy sound on my Buffet. I'm still looking, and if I find anything I'll let you know. I've been so busy teaching I haven't had time to get on the web.
