I studied classical sax there with a fine teacher , Ed Yadzinski.
Another excellent private teacher I had on clarinet was John Sedola who himself had studied with Simeon Bellison.
I'm a self-taught jazz and R&B player learning via lots of gigs and listening and transcribing.
I spent 2 years on the road with the Tommy Dorsey Band directed by Buddy Morrow and that was a great education.
I spent time on the road with Matt "Guitar" Murphy of Blues Brothers fame which was also a great education.
I also toured for 2 years with Chubby Checker of "the Twist" fame, also an education of sorts.
