    hola kingsax,
so i now have a vintage barone tenor, vintage bare brass-i do regularly wipe off, but today i got the spit drops that burned in greyish into the finish. may i ask what was your mix of various ungents, potions and salves to this funky finish. i dig it but, i haven't even had the horn 2 months so any suggestions from you would be appreciated.

    all best,

    Hi kingsax,
I have a MACSAX vintage bare brass that has developed some spittle spots (some turning green). From one of your posts you said you used beeswax to get rid of the spots? What was the final outcome? I am getting a MACSAX Empyreal next week and I am really worried due to the fact is unlacquered bare brass. I don't mind the patina....it's those damn spittle marks that I fear. Please advise.

    Kingsax,
Could you please send me pics of you Barone tenor. I am considering getting one and would like to see the finish you have. Plus I would love to hear any feedback you have on the horn.
    Thanks
    Kevin
