I just use the Selmer two screw ligature. I find it gives me the best tone (mid. to dark) I'm looking for and it is easy and simple to work with. I find this to of great benefit as I don't like messing around with ligatures a lot and everything is always stable.
  2. Hi Red!
Right now, Slant is my main piece. Before was a Florida STM Link 7* which one I love until Brian do his magic on my slant! Now is like Disney, "A whole new world"

Anyway, I got a question, what type of ligature you use on your Slant???

Hey Melvin. I'm next after you on the GIAI passaround. I too play a Otto Link "Slant Sig" #7. Is that your main piece? If you can, let me know how you compared the GIAI to the Slant. Thanks, Red
