I'm new to this forum, and have been looking around here for some instrument repairmen. I have just bought an old selmer silver plated clarinet off the webs favourite auction site. The instrument is in great condition, i was very pleasantly surprised to find the key mechanisms are still working fine and in fact feel super smooth. However the clarinet needs a re-pading along with cork replacements. From reading through the forums I've seen that you have serviced some of these old silver clarinets. Would you be able to have a look at mine? I would preferably like someone who has had some experience with these to work on it.
Hey Dirk! Just wanted to thank you again for the quick adjustment you did on my Selmer yesterday. It was great to meet you and I'm happy that I found someone as nice and enthusiastic as you so close to my uncle's home in Canberra. If I know anyone else coming through there who needs any work done on a sax I'll be sure to tell them about you.
Hey Dirk its Geordie, new mouthpiece is doin great, thanks again for the help..
but I thouhgt this was a bit odd, a Brilhart 8 facing isnt even on the facing chart. the chart only goes up to 7. ??
