Oops! Not a Buescher - a Conn. Sorry for the oversight ;-( TFlan
Hi; I just saw your post re; horns for sale. I'm looking for a decent alto for relatively small $$ for a grandson who's starting Jr High band next semester. I want to get him a horn so he has plenty of time to practice before tryouts. He has been learning clarinet so there's some ability there. It looks as though the least expensive "player" on the list is the gold washed Buescher? Contact me at tflanster@hotmail.com if you think you may have something that would work. RE: MPC's. I had a really nice Brilhart Tonalin C* when I was a kid. Sold it recently. Stupid! I'm thinking a piece with characteristics like that one or the Selmer S80 C*, C**, or D would be good. He does have an embouchure from clarinet so I don't want anything real closed. Thanks Tom Flanagan
