    I reckon they should be played, not collected! If a sax does not have the breath of life coursing through it, it is dead. And collecting dead saxes is a bit like collecting dead cats.

    "Spud nut" is the name used for the female threaded nut-like thingy soldered into a flute key cup. But if they are male, I think they'd be called studs!
