    Definitely a re-lacquer!...but if it plays like butta and sounds amazing, who cares what it looks like...Tell the guy it's a re-lacquer and to knock down the price, than you'll have yourself a sweet...

    In the photo showing the bell stamp and engraving, it certainly appears that it has been re-lacquered.
    Also, the 1091xx range was shipped between roughly October 1963 and April 1964, so this horn...
