+1. When I was just starting out, Ferree's was very helpful to me. The other firms generally only sell to full-time repair people (which I wasn't, at the time).

MusicMedic also has some nice tools...

A great source is to find a music store or individual tech getting out of the business. I've scored some pretty nice deals that way.
