Yeah I hear ya I guess the long flat beak and no NY stamp makes me call it an 80's modern/transitional, regardless it plays a hell of a lot better than the more modern made pieces.

Vandoren Optimum. Anything with a single screw is fine with me. If I hadn't already spent the $$, I'd be using a Rovner. The Optimum works OK, but I don't care for the weight of the screw mechanism....lomaserena Today, 01:55 PM
