    1.Impedance is a term associated with oscillating energy forms. (Rather than the steady flow such as air moving down an instrument, or direct current)

    When I used a NW series one, my best mouthpiece was a Selmer Super Session D. I generally use an S-80 D but on the Conn the slightly larger bore worked very well.

    Like said in several of the answers, there is no such a thing as an ideal or reference pitch of the neck. Everything you are experiencing is relative to your particular setup.
