What is the highest note for Yanagisawa A800(standard fingering)? Are there difference between A800 and A990 as for the (again,stanard) highest note? I mean standard fingerings here excluding fancy fingering for altissimo.

Yeah, I use a Rovner Dark on a Jumbo Java. I have to say, it kills. Using V16's, it has a huge core, plenty of edge, and, when put on tight enough, grants me access to new altissimo notes. With a metal ligature, the core disappears. Rovner Dark is awesome!
