I have an opportunity to purchase a malerne soprano. Serial#7253. Company went out of business in 1974. I cannot find a serial number listing,or comments regarding their horns.It was made in paris. Does anyone have any experience with this brand?

I have just bought a Malerne alto sax on eBay, serial no. 8137. Must be a Malerne Artiste (compared it to www.saxpics.com). It is my first Malerne sax. Can anybody tell me how old the horn is? Are there any informations out there on Malerne serial numbers? Thanks, Hans
