Hi VintageSaxGuy, I am in Olathe, and have been hooked by the vintage saxes too. I am 44 and just started playing about 4 years ago. I travel too much on business, so progress has been slow. I would love to get a few local sax tips from you (places to go to listen to sax players, local techs that do good work on vintage saxes, etc.) if you don't mind corresponding a little.
