Check out the Sax Manufacturers subforum under Pierret or Olds.

The Competition was Pierret's flagship model at the end of the 50s and they stenciled this model for a number of distributors eg Olds (check out the next Pete Hales "The Sax Info" 2009 Calendar!!), Reynolds, Dumont.

Stephen Howard in the UK has done an enthousiastic review on an alto he worked on (shwoodwinds.com if memory serves right).
Personally I don't like the RH ergos too much on tenor (low D key location) but apart from that was impressed by evenness of tone, power in the upper range, and sweet tone the tenor stencils I tried have.

Enjoy it!!
