Gold Plated vs. Gold Lacquered

I have a YTS-82Z Tenor Yamaha Tenor Saxophone, does anyone know what changing the original G1 gold lacquered neck to Gold Plated G1 will do to sound?

It should darken the sound, but this is dependant upon other characteristics of the neck too.

just a heads up on "Gold Lacquer."
It is gold colored lacquer instead of clear. It just makes the horn look nicer. It has no gold metal in or on it.
Gold Plated is ... well... plated with gold.
