I cant stand a metal mouthpiece without a heavy patch. It just hurts my teeth too much. There isnt much difference except the sense of adjusting the size of the mouthpiece.

they tend to be thinner so you will need more side pressure (and try not to compensate by biting more). actually the thin profile of my metal link was in part what caused me to switch to a hr as my main mpc but i have a big mouth...and the particular link just wasnt worth the effort.
