Got a Prestige Sop

The serial is 58XXX around '88 I guess. Take a look on EBay #260306493924.Is this gold plated and top line horn..?? The buzz seems to be on the 2000 models. this one just says "Prestige".

I saw that horn and almost bid on it...it looks like a transitional model of some sort (and the serial would indicated that as well). It has the same keywork as the Prestige 2000, but it doesn't look gold-plated and it has a different case than the other Prestige 2000s that I've seen. (If it's an original case.)

Hope it plays as good as it looks, let us know (intonation, power). They surely borrowed from Buffet not only the name but also the low Bb split plateau!

I recieved the horn and it sounds good, looks gold plate up close. Needs TLC G# spat is tweaked. I don't have a good enough repair shop to touch a horn like this..I put it back on Ebay. I wanted to see one close up, it's an impressive horn.

What do you mean by "tweaked"?
