Lawton Stainless Steel Mouthpiece

I just bought one of these last week and I am glad I did. I have good control with it in all registers and it play very well in tune. I bought a 7B or B7. It can play nice and softly but when pushed it can be very powerful with plenty of edge to it :twisted: . I just thought I'd post this and let you guys know what I decided on. Does anyone else play one of these?

I recently got a brass goldplated 7*B.I agree,nice piece,plenty of edge when pushed;great,aggressive sound.

Subtone Sam, what kind of reeds do you use with it? What kind of horn are you playin on? Do you use the lig that came with it?

Noel Mac,I´m using LaVoz medium-hard reeds.My bari is H.Couf Suberba 2 (Keilwerth made horn).Yes,I use the Lawton lig.,I think they work very well on Lawtons.

Lawtons really do like La Voz reeds, RJS also can play well but tend to be somewhat brighter sounding.
