It's a Shooting Star. They can be ok, but I would look elsewhere.

It still may be a good 60s-70s horn if set up right. Assuming it plays OK, it is probably worth about $300.

let me just say that it's advertised at more than twice the figure you've mentioned.

i'm leaving it alone. gonna head over to brassnwoodwind and actually try out a few saxes and then buy - screw this.
