Is there even anything engraved on the bell?

guy claims it's a conn, and says there's no engraving or model number - nothing.
wants $500 for it.

Without anything else to go on, it looks a lot like my wife's MexiConn. Made by a dying Conn company in Nogales, Mexico from late 60s to late 70s. Made for use as inexpensive student horns.

You can get them all the time on Ebay for $100 - $200, but you don't know what you are getting. If it plays well, it is a rarity for those horns. However, they are made like a '66 Ford - you can't hurt them easily.

I have been obsessed with saxes for 48 years to the point of foregoing food!
I remember in the 60s not eating for a few days due to a new mouthpiece.
