Always happens with cane on a metal tenor mpc or a large tip opening on a bari - No problem with synthetics - Any thoughts?

Stick with synthetics.

I cant play Dukoff D series mpc's or Alexander reeds to this day, because of squeak issue's. Have you tried other metal mpc's? I would try other brand cane reeds first, then try another metal mpc.

Some might say, the mpc may be off and need a reface, and this may be the case. For me, I found that some things just dont work for some people no matter what.

Yes, I have tried other metal mouthpieces and all types/strngths of reeds to no avail - I am kind of curious as to the experience of other players - PS: this is not a problem with plastic or hard rubber mouthpieces with a small tip opening.

I would guess number one, metal tend to have more inconsistency's than rubber and bigger tip opening are more noticeable if the rails are of causing squeaking. I own both a 7* otto link STM and a 120/2/sms berg that NEVER squeak on either any cane or plastic. They've both been refaced so the mp is perfect. Imperfections cause squeaks

I am much more likely to squeak on a rubber then metal. Maybe you just arent meant for large /metal tips. Large tips made me squeak at first, but as I went along, I actually preffered very large tips, and have better control, sound qaulity with them. I would recommend using what works best for you at the moment, things can change as time goes on, sometimes its a new reed strength, sometimes it may even be a new mouthpiece or tip opening. You dont have to force anything, it will just happen.

Generally, it's an unbalanced reed that makes you squeak.

It may be true a unbalanced reed makes you squeak, But its extremely rare for me to have a squeak at all on my mouthpiece, regardless of a good or bad reed. For me, its more mpc to mpc. The jumbo Java's would get me everytime. They are so easy to play, but for me, so much. I found them extremely free blowing, so much I had to step up to the a75 because it controls better and doesnt squeak as much. Honestly, maybe I just needed a harder reed with this mpc, and I used my standard stock strength.

the imbalance would be an issue, but if you have less of a problem with synthetics, that might not be the case. I also play a Link STM 7* and don't have issues ANYMORE. I would give a good look into upping your reed strength, and increasing your airflow
