I am currently using an Otto Link STM 8* on tenor with great satisfaction.
I am now starting soprano (Antigua 590 Model).
Are the STM soprano tip openings comparable to tenor ones ? Should I also go for a 8* on sop ?

A second question: have you compared Link STMs with Selmer Super Session ? what are the key tonal differences ?
Thanks in advance,
Marc.

I just purchased, and then immediately returned a soprano STM. I found the sound bright, nasal and unpleasant. I much prefer the sound of the Super Session to the Link. Also, the ligature on the Link is an absolutely unuseable, piece of crap.

However, at the same time I received a Yanagisawa 7 metal piece that I like very, very much. I'll be keeping it.

BTW, I play a Keilwerth SX90II, if that matters.
