What are some differences in the way these two horns play. Currently I have a YAS-23 and it plays well it just is starting not to cut it for me. One of my classmates just bought a Kessler Tenor (dont know which one) and loves it over her yahmaha allegro.

P.S. does anyone know if these horns come unlaquered?

Supposedly the red brass gives it a warmer sound. No unlacquered versions listed on the Kessler website.
