Maestro Deluxe Case

Hi all...I am looking for a reliable case for my alto, and I came across this on ebay:

These look pretty good, three latches that are lockable, full piano hinge, and double handles. I just bought an Eastman contoured case from Sam Ash 3 weeks ago, but am not really thrilled about its security and ergonomics.

What do you guys think about he above case?

I got a tenor one on eBay, from violinking, the guy from houston, which are the same case.

I like it, its very much like a Walt Johnson, but in a different shape. Same hardware & interior as a Walt, the shell is the same material

I think they are pretty good, for the money.

SopAlto1, thanks for your feedback. I think I may end up getting it. It does look like a WJ. I just want a reliable case for my baby, and I really like this one.

I've only heard bad things about those cases. Not the 'Deluxe' especially, but their older models were notoriously bad. There were a couple of horror stories on this board.

Its been 4 months & the case is still holding up fine!! A O.K.!!

Pretty good for $100! No horror stories here
