Borgani

[Perfect Pitch]

Hi I have the opportunity to buy an old 17** Borgani tenor in mint condition quite cheap. Anyone have experience with these. I know the new model promoted by Joe Lovano (and loved by Dr G.) are reputedly excellent. Any wisdom would be appreciated thanks

They are two very different horns. Don't buy the old one because some of us like the newer ones (Jubilee model). Early Borg's had a reputation of being fairly mediocre - even as student models. I cannot speak to how well they play as I have never had the experience.

Please,don't buy it.
I am from Italy and I know who is making these horns.
Borgani has started making pro horns only a few years ago,and they have still a lot of things to learn.
Lovano and Berg have custom made horns,but the standard production is
very far from this quality.
