Buescher Logo

Hi Guys,

Can any of the 'Crat community tell me what the serial number range is for the logo written "vertically" along the bell. Were they all post 381,XXX?

I own 381000. It's a tenor with vertical "Buescher" under horizontal "Aristocrat". Boy, I hope I got the first!!

Certainly with the 400s it started well before 381k.

I realise this is an old one, but I believe that the answer is that the engthways Buescher name with the Ariistocat or 400 at the top ran from 360K to 405K. The name of the 400, at least, then ran under the Buescher name for some time. A 400 from 360K to 405K is usually regarded as a nice horn, but the Aristocrats started to go downhill no later than 360K and, according to some, even earlier.
