for my Conn 6M alto. I gave my SR Tech Pro L85 HR a proper testing last night and these were the issues I was having: too free-blowing (running out of air,) slightly bright/loud, sound too focused. I will be getting a Brilhart Tonalin (no serial) in a .72 tip soon, and I'm also considering trying to get a Morgan 6L to experiment with.
EDIT: A Red Runyon Custom 7 plays really fine, so I don't need a mpc now. thanks to super20dan, gary, and all others that recommend the custom for the 6M. :)
