Ive been using a variaty of reeds wihin the past few years of playing bari. Most of the time i use regular rico royals (2 1/2). then i tried using some vandorians (3) and then some La Vaz (3). But so far none have really impressed me. My private instructor gets his reeds from a custom company and they last forever and sound great in jazz. Is this what i need to be doing? or should i keep on looking for a better brand name reed?
