Does anyone know what his set-up was? I love his solo in The Logical Song.

Let's hope someone can answer you, I too would like to know more than the rumors that he was playing a MkVII and practicing every day at 5 am!

Have you tried contacting him through his site. Maybe his myspace page?

Any sax player that's practicing at 5 am is trying to wind down, not wind up. Everyone knows a real sax player doesn't roll out of bed until at least the crack of noon! :D

His alto is certainly a VI ,but his HR mpc could be many guesses!
Might be a Meyer,,but who knows, except somebody that knows him,or met him!He was a good reed man,,played all the saxes, clarinet, saw them four times in live concert!
All the best

The solo was, I remember from some TV programme, recorded in the loo. Doesn't matter if it's a MkVI with a Dukoff or an Antigua with a ROC, it'll sound the like the Logical Song if it's recorded in the loo.

Who's going to start marketing Portaloos for stage use?

I sent him an e-mail about this 2-3 years ago, and he never responded. I started a thread like this back then and no one could answer me. I hope you can figure it out, I would still like to know!

I also started a similar thread about a year ago and I was told that 'a meyer on alto and a link on tenor' but not to sure... I tried to contact him but nothing really came of it.
