Does anyone happen to have the tenor solo for Pick Up the Pieces by Average White Band? Thanks!
[edit]
I'm looking for the transcribed tenor solo, not the alto/tenor part

Can't transcribe? There are some programs that can do it for you. Finale comes to mind.

I've got Finale, but it doesn't transcribe from mp3s. Great program though! :D

Give me a couple minutes I'll transcribe it for you - I hope you can play altissimo

Here it is- I had to spend so much time condensing it into a valid file for the website and now it looks crappier than it did originally but you can still read it. It's in 2/4 and you'll understand why when you listen to the recording and realize it doesn't line up with the chord changes (well its really 1 change) in 4/4 unless you add an extra 2 beats to one measure. I'm not sure why they played it that way but you never notice those sort of things until you're trying to transcribe it. Enjoy.

Thank you so much! This is exactly what I was looking for :D

No problem - you may want to consider giving a listen to Steve Ferrone's recording of the tune on the album "Burning for Buddy" (1994) It features a really good soprano sax solo by Andy Fusco that has some great improvisatory techniques and licks in there you may want to try and imitate.
