In the interests of experimentation, I took the spoiler from a Jody Jazz and put it in my A28 Vandoren. Whoosh - what a screamer! The altissimo was absolutely unbelievable, sweet and clear and controllable, and the general quality of sound was maintained with a substantial kick. As the JJ has a rollover baffle and the A28 doesn't, its not a perfect fit, but it's pretty snug. Try it if you dare. :twisted:
