Well first, hi all, I'm new here =) I'd like to think I'm a good player (made Iowa All-State alternate on Bari this year, been in my school's jazz band all 4 years, and our wind symphony 3 eyars), and this year our director is giving us the chance to prepare a feature with the band to be performed at our school's band festival. Of course there will be auditions (on what.. I assume the piece you want to play with the band) to find out who the lucky person is.

Anyway, being that this is my 6th year on the bari (with one year on the alto before that) I was looking for a bari sax feature. I checked www.jwpepper.com and no luck. So my question is: Is there any good Medium - Advanced difficulty bari sax features out there? Or if not, I could get out my alto or see what our school has for a tenor I could rent. But I'm not sure I could play anything incredibly difficult (remember, High School  ) if I had to double. If it helps any with how "good" I am, I auditioned for All-State on "Septieme Solo De Concert" by Singelee out of the Adolphe Sax series, and found it fun and I could play it well with a little practice.

Hey, while I'm at it.. I also need a good idea for a sax quartet/quintet this year. Asked for a New Century CD for christmas, can't wait to hear them =)

Doh :(

I think I'll repost it under the solo forum, think my question fits a bit better there.
