I've wrapped a few on these and I kinda like the responce they have.
Easy to use-and it resonates the sound in a nice way.
So far so good!

For those who are looking for a tube ( staple) that might
be a bit different. Check this. I like them.The low register is very improved with these. << YMMV tho' >>

Hey, Tim, I notice the site copy says, "From the very first reed you tie on the staple, the results will take your breath away." Hmmm, my recollection of oboe playing (I tried my niece's once) was that so little air went through the sucker that my breath was indeed taken away. Now maybe if Fred Lamberson could make a wide-open one ... :-).

Beth~I think you'll like them. I use a Gordet oboe. It's very dark.
The resonance is interesting.Plus the material of the tube
is a plus.Let me know how they work for you.I do a lot of doubling thru the Xmas season, in various bands where doubling oboe is a must.Like pops concerts etc.
I am enjoying the staples a lot. Keep me posted :)
